What’s Happening for February 2024 in Infinity Institute?

A lot of exciting things are happening this month! In this article, I’m going to tell you about what Infinity Institute is doing for the month of love, February!

What Happened the Past Days?

• On the 1st of February, Infinity Institute announced that there will be Valentine Day Grams, or Love Grams, that will be handed out on Valentine’s Day and you can buy during lunch time. 
• Then on the 2nd of February, it was National School Wear Red Day for Women. You could wear red accessories, shirts, t-shirts, pants, and shoes to show your support for women! 
• Marking Period 2 was coming to an end and it officially ended on the 5th of February, but not all grades are fully put in. They are due to be set officially by next week since Report Card Conferences are next week, we’ll talk more about that.
• We had a 12:45 PM Dismissal on the 7th of February which meant no After-School Activities. Iit was really great that we got out of school early though!
• Finally, on the 9th of February, we had an awesome Staff vs. Students Volleyball Game! Great job to the staff, they were so good! Only High School Students could sign up for it by the way, it was After-School and it lasted until 5:00 PM. I did go to the game and it was a tie so I didn’t see who actually won but hopefully the deserved team won! Everybody was amazing during the game and I didn’t know that some of the teachers like Ms. Pacheco and Mr. Singer were that good at volleyball!

What’s Going to Happen in the Next Days?

• On February 14, the NJS and NJHS will be doing a Bake Sale that has chocolates, brownies, and many more sweet treats! The Love Grams will be distributed during the day as well! 
• The day after that, February 15, we will get our report cards and your parents or guardians could sign up for Report Card Conferences. Also, we have a 12:45 PM Dismissal on the 15th too! 
• Then on February 16, the staff will have an African American Heritage Luncheon in Room 8B. But, us Middle School students can also do something on that day which is Race for Hearts, it’s during After-School and ends at 4:45PM! You can do relay races, sack races, and many more enjoyable racing activities! You have to pay only $2.00 to participate in it and if you do, wear red!
• Three days go by and it’s President’s Day, which is on the 19th, and we have no school!
• February 22nd is the day where we will have our Cupid Shuffle School Dance! It starts at 5:30PM and ends 3 hours later at 8:30PM, make sure to be ready! 
• The Saturday of February 24, there will be a District HIP Fair at Middle School #7 during 9:00 AM.
• Next, on February 27, a Parent-Teacher Meeting, or PTA Meeting, will be held virtually at 6:30 PM!
• On the last day of February, the Middle School Black History Bee is on that day! Be prepared Middle Schoolers because you are representing your grade!

Other Stuff!

Happy Birthday to anyone who’s birthday passed during the start of this month! Also, all of this is based on the flyers around the school and the Infinity February 2024 Calendar!
